We want getting to know Donatty to be as easy as possible for our users, and setting it up to cause no trouble at all, so we have gathered here the answers to the questions our support team hears most often. We hope this article helps you get to know Donatty better!

A streamer friend recommended your platform to me — how do I sign up?

To sign in to the platform, go to the streamer dashboard. You will find the link by clicking “Sign in” in the top right corner of the Donatty site. You can sign in with any of four options: Twitch, YouTube, VK and Trovo.

Please note: if you pick a different method the next time you sign in, another streamer dashboard will be created for you in Donatty automatically.

Which payment systems can I accept donations through on your platform?

We support donations from any bank card.

We are working on adding donations through the Faster Payments System (SBP).

Are there any restrictions on donations from other countries?

We support donations from any card issued in Russia.

Since 10 March 2022, Visa and MasterCard have stopped supporting cards issued in Russia and transactions to banks in Russia. Donations from foreign cards are therefore only possible if the issuing bank allows such transactions (which is unlikely).

A donation will also fail if the donor's card does not have 3-D Secure enabled (the protocol for paying safely for goods and services online).

What fees does your platform charge on donations?

Card donations carry a fee of just 5% on the Pro plan and 8% on Basic. Withdrawals to a card are FREE if a single withdrawal is over 10,000 roubles. Below that, the fee is a flat 40 roubles. More details here.

What is the minimum withdrawal amount, and how long will I wait for the money?

The minimum withdrawal is 500 roubles.

Donatty supports withdrawals to a card from any Russian bank. The time depends on your plan: up to 24 hours on Pro and up to 72 hours on Basic. In practice the money arrives considerably faster — the figures we give are the maximum possible.

Why do I have to go through identity verification? I do not want to give you my personal data.

We create a dedicated account for every user, and that is where donations arrive. To use Donatty in full, you will need to complete identity verification. Without it you can still receive donations, but you cannot withdraw funds.

We do not store or process your personal data — we delete it as soon as verification is confirmed.

I have completed every verification step — how long will my details take to check?

A review usually takes anywhere from a few minutes to a day. We check every application by hand.

Can I use Donatty to accept donations if I am not a Russian citizen?

You can, but withdrawals are only available to cards issued by Russian banks. So if you do not have one, there is not much point.

I withdrew money but it never arrived on my card. Why?

Our payment partner may have frozen your account because it suspects you are using it for something other than receiving donations on stream.

In such cases the account is blocked so that no user of the platform can be harmed by possible fraudulent activity.

To unfreeze the account, contact Donatty support. Write to us in the chat or at support@donatty.com.

Can I post a link to my donation page on my social media?

You can post a link to your donation page on social media, on one important condition: that you intend to accept donations and NOTHING ELSE.

Selling goods or providing services through us, for example, is not allowed.

I want to change my nickname but cannot find where to do it in my Donatty dashboard.

Go to the “Widgets” tab in the streamer dashboard and click the “Donation page” card. To change your nickname, just edit the “Page title” field and save your changes.

How do I link all my Twitch and YouTube accounts to my Donatty dashboard?

Click the icon with your nickname in the top right corner of the streamer dashboard, then choose “Settings” from the list that opens. On the settings page you can link a new account (Twitch, YouTube) so it becomes a data source for your widgets.

I signed up but could not configure anything from my phone.

For now, a phone lets you track only your transaction list and balance. In some situations it is awkward to keep the Donatty streamer dashboard open throughout a stream — that is exactly what this mobile interface was built for. All that is left is to set your phone so its screen does not lock during the stream. We described how to show the donation list on a phone or tablet in this guide.

A mobile version of the site with the full streamer dashboard is currently in development. In future you will be able to make any changes you need while away from your computer.

I signed up — how do I start receiving donations?

To accept donations through Donatty, you need to put a link to your donation page on your stream channel.

Please read our guide. In it we have tried to describe in as much detail as possible how to set up a donation page link in a Twitch channel description.

I moved over from another platform and set up all the widgets and alerts. How do I clear the cache in OBS?

Click the “Browser” type source in the “Sources” block in the panel at the bottom of OBS. In the source properties window that opens, click “Refresh cache of current page”.

I signed up and gave it a try but it was not for me. How can I delete my Donatty account?
